Summary

Danco Machine, founded in 1979, is one of the largest precision machine shops in Silicon Valley, with a reputation for quality machining with customers in medical, defense, aerospace, automotive and other industries. Danco Machine provides a broad process capability as a contract manufacturer, including assembly, EDM, welding, sheet metal and precision grinding. The majority of revenue is from the medical device industry, where exacting tolerance requirements and extreme precision are the industry norm.
 
CNC Programmer - Posted October 13, 2011 
We are currently seeking a high caliber, CNC Programmer to join our engineering team. The right candidate would be a tenured professional with more than 10 years full time programming experience. The candidate would be capable of complex programming for horizontal and vertical CNC mills. Other requirements for the position are as follows:
  • 10 years minimum experience as a CNC Programmer, demonstrating increasing capabilities, with an aptitude for learning and constantly improving.
  • Seven years minimum Mastercam specific experience is required. Mastercam X experience highly preferred.
  • SolidWorks experience a plus.
  • Part drawing dimensioning from 3D files required.
  • Familiar with cutting a wide variety of materials including various exotic alloys, aluminum, steel, plastic, etc.
  • The ability to design necessary tooling and fixturing. Manage all phases of a production order from start to finish.
  • Work with scheduling and various levels of skilled operators and machinists to ensure quality components.
  • Strong communication skills a must.
  • Demonstrate strong mathematical and analytical skill set.
  • Able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Setup/CNC Lathe Programmer - Posted October 13, 2011
We are currently seeking a Setup/CNC Lathe Programmer for 2nd shift to join our team. The right candidate would be a tenured professional with more than 10 years full time programming experience. Other requirements for the position are as follows:
  • Able to program and setup CNC lathes up to 5 axis with sub spindle.
  • Experience with Mastercam version 9 a plus.
  • Familiar with LNS bar feeders.
  • Must have previous experience with FANUC oi-TB and oi-TC controls.
  • HAAS control experience preferred.
  • Experience with Citizen C32 program and setup a plus.
  • Able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Quality Inspector - Posted October 13, 2011
We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. The right candidate would be hourly paid, have experience in normal manufacturing inspection duties, be able to read engineering blueprints and be experienced with inspection of precision components.
Main responsibilities of the position:
  • Inspection of components and assemblies, both in-process and final inspection.
  • Using appropriate inspection tools/equipment to check critical dimensions and features per customer requirements.
  • First article and Final inspection and accurate documentation.
  • Communication and efficient problem solving between different manufacturing departments.
Requirements/personal attributes:
  • Experience as a full time inspector of CNC machined components desirable.
  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerance knowledge beneficial.
  • Demonstrate strong mathematical and analytical skill set.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel & Word in particular)
  • CMM operating experience a plus, however not required.
  • Knowledge/experience with ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 quality management systems desirable.
  • Strong team player and clear communicator.
