CNC Setup Machinist - Posted June 13, 2010

We are currently seeking high caliber CNC Set-up Machinists to fill openings on both the first and second shift teams. The right candidate would be capable of handling complex prototype and production level set-ups for both horizontal and vertical CNC mills. Other requirements for the position are as follows:

  • Ten years minimum experience as a CNC Machinist (Fadal, Delta88 controller), with experience handling all aspects of complex jobs from set-up to first run on proto-type parts with a minimum scrap rate.
  • Be able to set-up and operate Fanuc OM, 16M and 18M controls.
  • Must be able to; proof programs, inspect first article parts, adjust accordingly and work collaboratively with the inspection department to complete part acceptance.
  • Programming experience desirable.
  • Candidate should be a clear communicator with an aptitude for learning and constant improvement. Must be dependable, quality conscious and thrive in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with cutting a wide variety of materials including various exotic alloys, aluminum, steel, plastic, etc.
  • Demonstrate strong mathematical and analytical skill set.
  • Must follow all ISO procedures accurately and thoroughly.

Shipping Clerk - Posted June 7, 2010

We are currently seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our materials team. The right candidate should be able to carefully and expediently package components and assemblies. A candidate with some assembly experience will be strongly favored.

Main responsibilities of the position:

  • Review and follow customer instructions for order routing, packaging methods and procedures.
  • Perform all necessary ERP system material transactions involved with removing parts from, or adding parts to finished goods inventory during the work order close and shipping processes.
  • Coordinates logistics for transportation of products to customer.
  • Must be able to deliver consistent quality combined with an efficient quantity of work.
  • Perform; at a minimum, final assembly of certain components (ideally perform complex assembly).

Requirements/personal attributes:

  • Minimum high school diploma required.
  • 2 years experience in shipping/materials function.
  • Able to understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and related tools.
  • Clear communicator, able to work efficiently in a team environment.

Hand Finisher - Posted June 1, 2010

We are currently seeking a hand finisher to join our team who would be willing to work first or second shift. The right candidate should be able to carefully and accurately de-burr and hand finish machined components.

Main responsibilities of the position:

  • De-burring and fine hand finishing of machined components made from various metal alloys and plastics.
  • Use appropriate hand finishing tools and equipment to efficiently finish a wide variety of components to finish dimensions.
  • Must be able to deliver consistent workmanship and quality combined with an efficient quantity of work.

Requirements/personal attributes:

  • 3 Years experience in a manufacturing role, where hand finishing / de-burring was part/all of the job performed.
  • Ability to operate semi-automated saw desirable, not essential.
  • Able to work precisely/accurately with hands; good dexterity essential.
  • Able to understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic geometric dimensioning and tolerance knowledge desirable.
  • Clear communicator, able to work efficiently in a team environment.
